HUGE NEWS

Posted by Glaiel-Gamer - December 16th, 2010

I have no huge news.

Or do I? I do have huge news but I can't say right now. I'll leave you guessing. And your guess is as good as mine as to when I'll be able to reveal the aforementioned huge news. I guess you could say it is huge news indeed.

IN OTHER HUGE NEWS
I guess I'll open this comment feed up to some Q&A. But if you ask about my huge news, the answer will always be "no comment". Also here's a picture I took on my phone a couple months ago.

Let me guess... Your dog is now healthy?

i have no dog and it died because nobody gave me money

Will you 'no comment' any question related to the huge news, or will you only 'no comment' questions which ask what the huge news is directly, and properly answer those which are about the huge news but not mentioning the huge news explicitly?
An example for the second option:
Say your huge news is that you are now married.
Someone asks "What's the huge news?" and you say "No comment."
Someone asks "Are you married", and you answer "Yes" since, although it was about the huge news, it didn't mention the huge news and otherwise looks like an ordinary question.

...Or will you 'No comment' to this question too because it relates to the big news?

As a second (third?) question, can we find out the big news soonest by following you on Twitter or friending you on Facebook? (totally not advertising for you)

no comment

i can tell that poster is actually violet-magenta and not pink.
clarification is always important in the work force.

I thought your post said 'HUGE GUTS'.

:(

What inspired Closure?
How did it carry over into the full-fledged game it's becoming?

I am sure you've been asked both of these questions before, and so I apologize.

What inspired Closure?

I'll have to start at the beginning for this one. About 13 billion years ago, all matter was compressed into a singular point of infinite density and extreme heat. It then exploded and the universe began to expand, cooling as it did so. Early stars developed from the cosmological soup. At a point, the universe was cold enough for heavy atoms to form from the remains of supernovas of aging stars, which then collected together to form planets. One of these planets was Earth, which we're all familiar with. Which brings us to 4 billion years ago. Earth was a planet with liquid oceans and lots of rich elements like carbon and nitrogen in that primordial soup. Something caused a few of these elements to react together and form the first living cell on earth. It reproduced again and again, sometimes resulting in a mutation. Not all mutations were detrimental, however, and the beneficial ones survived longer and reproduced more, eventually leading to more complex organisms. This led to fish, then reptiles and dinosaurs and birds, then mammals, and eventually homo sapiens (more commonly known as human, like you and me). We had cognitive abilities unmatched by other creatures, and the opposable thumbs capable of manipulating the environment to our will. We used these abilities to develop math and science and engineering, and through thousands of years of collective research, eventually developed the first electrical computer in the mid 1900s. Eventually, people realized that this pinnacle of technological accomplishment was super useful for providing mindless entertainment, so video games were invented. Atari made a home console, then nintendo took their place. Then sega challenged nintendo, and lost. Then sony challenged nintendo, and won. Then microsoft challenged both of them, and tied. Then nintendo challenged them to a revenge match with the wii, and kicked their ass. Microsoft is still doing well and sony is too however. In the midst of all this, the Internet was invented (by none other than Al Gore himself), newgrounds was started, and I began learning to program, with my first game Pigeon Pooper (which was sold to Bungie last january). All of this led up to the creation of Closure in 2009.

TL;DR version:
Jesus

Sorry bout your dog...

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS SECRET KEEPING PRIVATE GLAIEL?! I ORDER you to reveal your secret news AT ONCE. >:|

This is a tricky question

The big news is probably just Closure being released on January 2nd.

If given the opportunity to conquer Russia or Zimbabwe, which would you chose, and how would this decision be in relation to your gavorite cheesecake or danish?

Russia, cause nobody else pours vodka on cheesecake like they do

when you going be my programmer?

Whats up with these pedo masons anyway.

Sup

Merry Christmas!
