Why do all your games have to be Flash Player 10+? >:(
1. it takes 3 seconds to download
2. I use a lot of the new features (a ton of the Vector.<> container, it's faster than array, and dynamic sound)

The gravity idea was fun, but OH MY SHIT I hate these boss fights. They're usually good for about the first minute or two of each one, but they've got so much health that you have to grind it out for like another 3 or 4 minutes after that. Waitin for a boss to shoot for so long is painful.
The growing planet imagery was fun aswell.

well flash 9 has as3 too but that's besides the point

...I also didn't know that going fullscreen actually makes the game run faster.
I experience the opposite effect on YouTube videos going fullscreen than I do with your game. It's fascinating to me because I have no idea how that works.
it's cause they did fullscreen wrong :P
You can tell it to hardware scale the original swf instead of just rendering the thing at a higher resolution, also detatches the swf from the refresh rate of the browser, and the rest of the OS doesnt have to render to the screen
you should stop basing who you work with on eyebrows. it woulda been an awesomer game if you let me put my mitts on it.

I love the little subtle effects like the displacement map filter (i dont know what im taking about!) thingy when you rollover an enemy!
