I made my newgrounds account 20 years ago today, when I was 14. Made a few (50ish) games then spun that into a career with other people I met on newgrounds. There's no other site like it! Long live Newgrounds!

I think i first used the site around 20 years ago as well. I definitely learned a lot and developed as an artist and person from being here

It was a very different time wasn’t it, in my experience was it the only website that was edgy enough to have gore and dick jokes everywhere. With a big community of creators which I always looked up to/got inspired by.
I joined 16 years ago and I am a recovering addict (childhood trauma’s) and I am getting back into animation again. I feel great and I am very glad newgrounds still exists.
My dream as a 14 year old was to get my animations on the frontpage someday.
Hopefully in the near future 💪

Personally, I'm glad this site isn't as raunchy as it used to be, even back in 2017-2018 (I don't remember exactly) which was when I first came across the site.
