I quit Boy Scouts long ago. Earning badges is boring.
The badges aren't the point of scouting.
Congratulations! I have a friend working on becoming an Eagle Scout. The Scout troop in my area disbanded while I was still a Cub Scout though, and I didn't try to join another as I was busy with football and such. Almost wish I had gone further. But congratulations!

What did you do for your eagle project?
I cleaned and repaired a veteran's park which included hitting slate tiles with hammers to refit them into the pathway.
I got my eagle last December.

my dad was an eagle scout had a gold and silver paw, he was pretty good.
but that not the point good job!
True fact:
The Boy Scouts of America charged my family $80 back in 1994 for me to join their ranks and instead they cashed our payment in the bank and told us they never received an application or payment from us.
But congratulations, Eagle Scout is quite an honour.

Congratulations. I was a Life Scout. I was going to earn my Eagle but I turned eighteen with three required merit badges remaining. =(
i nearly got to eagle scouts
and then i realized the only part of being a scout i enjoyed was the camping
and i can do camping on my own time (and do!)
I never got past Beavers....
I laughed at beavers. Those stupid lame ass beavers with their awesome parades and awesome uniforms and adventures. Man I wish I was a beaver instead of pretending I was above it.
