so, how's it feel to pwn ridiculously and also leave me sleep deprived before work? The donut holes and juice might be doing it too. *twitch*

Wish I could play it. From what I hear from my friend it's the most amazing game ever made, and that's saying something coming from her. I don't know what's wrong, I know it's not my computer though. It's a very good computer and usually loads graphically intense games such as this with ease. Yet it still loads slowly and when I click the begin button there is nothing but a black screen and the heartbeat from the loading screen. I even set the quality to low but it only loads a bit faster and still ends with a black screen and the heartbeat. My friend wouldn't tell me what happens in the game because she doesn't want to spoil it so I didn't know if this was supposed to happen. But I waited a long time and tried clicking around and everything. I also have the most recent flash player like you said was necessary. I really don't know what the problem is, I've tried to play the game over 20 times now and it ends the same way every time. Please help me if you can.

try a different browser or reinstalling the player

If you are moving on to C++ can I have your AS3 knowledge since you won't be needing it anymore?

The theory of programming is all the same its just a few API specific things and syntax that's different, so I still need it all. Sorry.

This is probably the first cool project you've ever done. There. As close to a compliment as you'll get from me :D

Ha thanks. Sometime I will get a real compliment from you though. If I can get a real compliment from Komix and Luis I'm sure I can get a real compliment from you.

Awesome mechanics. Just take out the heartbeat. It scared me away :(

This game was a far cry from shittin out KrazyKar sequels, it definitely reflects a sign of maturity and a dedication to your craft.

Thanks. Krazy Kar sucks

If you're moving to C++, will you use Alchemy to let the flash community to continue seeing your work?

Alchemy is not magic, and the stuff I do in c++ will most definitely NOT run fast at all in flash. Alchemy is actually slower than programming from scratch in flash.

oh me oh myyyyyy have yourself a slice of silly piiiiiiiie

Thanks for your help, I reinstalled it and the game started working. It's really great. I love the whole dark and light thing. I'm on level 12 right now, can't wait to finish it.

Interesting! I'll be very interested to hear how the whole development happened...

I've not FINISHED Closure, but I wouldn't compare it to Portal or Braid.

It's closer to the independant game The Unfinished Swan.

I was working on a game with a similar concept, please see http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1 024036

Now my game's not going to be considered original :\

This game is awesome. Pity its getting a score lower than it deserves because idiots who can't run it on their machine decide to review it anyways.

Closure is an awesome game. I loved how you did the title screen. Brilliant. Some day I hope I can make a game half as amazing as this one.

It's interesting to read about how Closure came to be. It's a spectacular game, and the concept just wowed me. I probably could never come up with something as ambitious. So, are you gonna think about working on consoles? (Xbox LIVE Arcade, XNA, etc.)

It's people like you that inspire aspiring Flash developers like me.

Ya i'm going to attempt. Not XNA though, I need a lot of power for it cause some of the new features I have planned aren't as fast to compute as what there was in the flash version.

Silly me. I actually thought Closure referred to the "hidden" plot line, didn't even think about the Law of Closure.
