Congratulations! I have a friend working on becoming an Eagle Scout. The Scout troop in my area disbanded while I was still a Cub Scout though, and I didn't try to join another as I was busy with football and such. Almost wish I had gone further. But congratulations!

I cleaned and repaired a veteran's park which included hitting slate tiles with hammers to refit them into the pathway.

The Boy Scouts of America charged my family $80 back in 1994 for me to join their ranks and instead they cashed our payment in the bank and told us they never received an application or payment from us.

But congratulations, Eagle Scout is quite an honour.

and then i realized the only part of being a scout i enjoyed was the camping
and i can do camping on my own time (and do!)
